This guide is intended for SJ Zoo Slideshow III - Joomla! Module
When you buy the module the first time, you will have the latest version. After the first release, we will update this module regularly, then please check newer versions in here

REQUIREMENTS

1. Joomla! v1.7.x and Joomla! 2.5.x latest stable versions are highly recommended.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator of Joomla!:
  • In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
    In this page, click Browse, select module package.
  • Then click Upload & Install

  • Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
  • Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose the module you have installed
  • Then click the module listed below to configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

SETTINGS

1. This module with sample layout is below:

  • Large Image: This is the first image in the description of item
  • Description of Item: This is the text of description's content
2. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:
  • Basic Options
  • Source Options
  • Zoo Options
  • Image Options
  • Effect Options
  • Advanced Options
BASIC OPTIONS
  • Module Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template
  • Module Width - Allow to set width of module
  • Spotlight Width - Here you can add width spotlight
  • On/Off Navigation - You can on/off navigation if you want
  • Navigation Height - Allow to set width of navigation
  • Select A Theme - Allow you to choose one of 4 themes available
  • Open Link - The opening window with link:
    • Same window
    • New window
    • Popup window
SOURCE OPTIONS
  • Data Source - Choose the source of category that is used with this module
  • Image Folder Path - This param is used for data source from image folder. This is path to folder which contains your images. You can put your images in address: /images/image_zooslideshowIII
  • Description for each image - This param is used for data source from image folder. This is description for each image. You can use syntax: imagename=>title|desciption|link
  • Zoo Application - Allow to choose one of 2 applications available: Page Application OR Blog Application
  • Zoo Category - Choose the source of category that is used with this module. You can choose one or more categories you want.
  • Include Subcategories - Choose category in subcategories OR not
  • Sort order by - Select a field which you would like Articles to be ordered by:
    • Priority
    • Recently add
    • Recently modified
    • Hits
    • Title
    • Random
  • Source Filter - Allow to show articles that meet some factors:
    • All Articles
    • None Frontpage
    • Only Frontpage
  • Item Count - Allow to set number of items which you want to show in module
  • Item Number Per Page - Allow to set number of items which you want to show in a page

ZOO OPTIONS
  • Show Main Title - Show/hide the main title of item
  • Link For Main Title - Enable/Disable link for MainTitle of item
  • Main Title Max Characs - Allow to set the number of character in main title. Choosing -1 if you want to show full title.
  • Main Title Color - Allow to change color of main title
  • Show Description When - Allow you to choose way to show description. Support 3 ways:
    • Always
    • Hover
    • Image Animated
  • Main Description Max - Allow to set the number of character in main description. Choosing -1 if you want to show full title.
  • Main Description Color - Allow to set color for main description
  • Keep HTML - The module will keep HTML code in description if you choose "Yes"
  • Main Background Opacity - You can change the light and dark of main description opacity background. The dark'll increase from 0 to 1.
  • Show Navigation - Allow choose style of show navigate: Image OR Title
  • Navigation Title Color - Allow to change color of navigation
  • Show Navigation Buttons - With button on navigation, there are three ways to play: Display/Hover/Hide
  • Show Read More - Show/hide Read More
  • Read More Text - Allow you to alter the text for Read more...
IMAGE OPTIONS
  • Show Main Image - Allow to show/hide main image
  • Link For Main Image - Enable/Disable link for main image
  • Small Image Width/Height - Allow to set width/height of small image
  • Image width - Allow you to set the width of the image
  • Image height - Allow you to set the height of the image
  • Image background - Allow to set the color of image background
  • Image mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing
    • None
    • Center
    • Fill
    • Fit
    • Strec
EFFECT OPTIONS
  • Auto play - Allow you to set autoplay for slideshow
  • Navigation Type - Support 2 types to show navigation:
  • Module Content Layout - Allow to choose display content layout:
  • Effect - Support 25 effects for your site
  • Stop when hover - Allow you to stop slide when being hovered OR not
  • Slideshow speed - The time to move to next article
  • Timer - The time to run effect

ADVANCED OPTIONS
  • Media Elements - Allow to set which elements of HTML which images can be fetched from
  • Description Elements - Allow to set which elements of HTML which description can be fetched from
  • Include Jquery - Allow to include jQuery lib OR not
  • Custom URL - This param allows you to customize the link of each item. If you do not want to go to the detail page of item, you can change the link to another. In the textarea of Custom HTML, please use the following syntax::
    • ItemID_1:New_URL_1
    • ItemID_2:New_URL_2
    • ...
    With:
    • ItemID_1, ItemID_2,... are ids of items. You can see the Id column in Article Manager page
    • New_URL_1, New_URL_2, New_URL_3 are links which you want to replace the orginal links. Format: http://www.newlink.com
  • Pre-text - The content to show at the top of module
  • Post-text - The content to show at the end of module
  • Caching
    • Use Global: Turn on caching
    • No Caching: Turn off caching
  • Cache Times - The time to cache
