The problem presented in megaslider is that the thumbnails jump ahead of the dropdown menu so the menu hiding behind the images. Normally the menu must be going Above all.

Please send me the link to the page obtain the module. I enable it and I check on your home page, but it doesn't have adv_top module position. Maybe, it relates with css of your template (z-index property).
