The Module positions mid1, mid2, mid3 etc ... till mid8 only appears at one singe side. At my site it is the side

Of cause I know how to add a module to a menu-item, but this special menu-position only appear on this special side.
All other sides seems to have not this module position.
How can i add this modul positions to other sides? I can not find any difference between the menu-item above and other items.
