Smartodds templates are giving me a back headache to make simple things work.

1. I have already said a ticket with no reply yet. If I enable joomla gzip compression pages are rendered as question marks. A total disaster. This is caused by the smartaddons modules. Any of them. If you enable it, the site is not rendered correctly if not at all.

2. I'm trying to use the mega menu with my existing data. I have various javascripts in my modules. The mega menu breaks at once. No submenus at all. I have tried to use jquery easy with no success as this breaks my scripts. I have serious problems with banner delivery (revive adserver) as I use javascript innovation. Nothing works. This is a disaster. I have never met anything like that with any templates used from other joomla clubs.
Is there a way of replacing the mega menu with another commercial menu extension? I see that it is not loaded as a module. How can I remove it entirely if there is no way to fix it?
