Thanks for your advice, sorry to be a real dummy but how do I change the permission of cache and sub-folders in cache to 755?
I have looked on global but cannot see anything there?
I logged in to Cpanel file exporer and found cache, it seems to be already set to 755

I do not know how to change the permission of the cache folder to anything else?

I have been working with my host provider to correct the permissions and he has just sent this reply:
Can you please check the permissions for logs and caches folders are correct?

I have updated the permissions for the cache folders as requested
I have cleared and disable the cache for the website but images are
still missing. I recommend you to contact the developer to investigate
further, permissions for logs and cache's folders are correct.
