Even though there's absolutely no support here, I will post it anyway in case there's someone out there that had the same question as I do.

Is it at all possible to disable the transition effect on the notice module position and always show the notice image? I'm using the notice module position to show the site header image. I remove the close button in the css, but I'd like to remove the css transition so the header image is always shown.

Any input would be much appreciated.
