I was wandering about how to change the template name to anything else so anybody can see the new template name specially when they use Firebug in the front page,
and I want the description with full details to avoid any problem for my website.

I'm afraid that it didn't work perfectly.
there are some files inside the template must be changed and I want you to tell me what are these files that connected directly with the template name
the custom positions was not working eventhough I copyed the template and changed it to another name and I changed the language files too to the new one as they said in the link you gave me
everything has relevent to the custom positions disappeared with the new template name
