I have activated the breadcrump module on the breadcrumb position and it works fine.

But I don't want to link the start page as text, as you can define it in the module.

I want to link the existing icon (a house) to the home page. How is this possible?

=> change to:

echo '<li class="active"><a href="'.$this->baseurl.'/index.php"><i class="fa fa-home" rel="tooltip" title="' .JText::_('MOD_BREADCRUMBS_HERE').'"></i></a></li>';
