I have figured out if I delete the following code it takes away the box on the home page but it also takes away the content on all pages. Is there any code to add to this that will only delete the box from the homepage?

why dont you just not publish anything to that "blog" category, that is what i did.

Thanks for responding. I realised that if I turn off the component in the template settings it would take it away only on the home page. I assumed it would take out the component on all pages.
