The menu does not work in different languages.
It can only select a main language?
Is this even with the purchased template so?

Hi Kurt,

Have you created your menu in the language you want? Smartaddons comes with one menu generally. You have to:
1-Login you backend,
2-go to menu then create the menu you would like.

I have done everything.
Multilingualism works with the standard Joomla template.
With the free sj-news template only one language works in the main menu.
Multilingualism is shown in the bar below the main menu bar.

Mm ... Sounds like there's something going wrong. Have you created a template for each language? Modules? Set language for your modules and publications? Chosen default language for the new language?
I am sure you have done it all but we have to double checking everything again in a normal step for debugging.
