I need to remove the hours from the date. Does anyone know how to do it?

You can find this field "$item->created" and format date for it in: our module \mod_sj_k2_extra_slider\default.php

eg find:

<?php echo JHTML::_('date', $item->created, JText::_('DATE_FORMAT_LC5')); ?>

=> change to:

<?php echo JHTML::_('date', $item->created, 'Y-m-d'); ?>

Thanks for answering. But in the module folder (mod_sj_k2_extraslider) there is no file named default.php. In the tmpl folder I found a default.php file and try changing the code but it does not work. Attached images for better help. Please I need your help

The file is: modules/mod_sj_k2_extraslider/tmpl/default.php or if you override this file in the file: templates/your_theme/html/mod_sj_k2_extraslider/default.php
you need change this file too.
