Hello, I am not an advanced Joomla user and want to use the SJ Joomla3 for my website. I have several questions:

1. What is the quickstart package all about? Is it to install joomla or to install the template or both?

I downloaded and installed the template but can't enable the slideshow for example...

2. The website shows up differently in different browser/screen sizes, basically, messed up looking.... I am attaching screenshots.

=> maybe some extensions are not reponsive on your site now.

We think that you should install the quick start package.

After installing it, you will have a site like our demo site.

I understand that if I install the quickstart package, I will be reinstalling joomla all over again as I already have it. Is that necessary?

Will my content/articles disappear?

same for me, i cannot install the quickstart joomla 3

it works ok when i install the package from joomla download, but with the quickstart jommla 3 the is some error messages and installation go for hours.

error messages are :
