TOPIC: Problem publishing modules?

Problem publishing modules? 11 years, 6 months ago #4844

Hi!

Just installed the quick start with out any problem It's a beautiful template. Just can figure out why the modules don publish as they should. I tried publishing a few modules to different positions however they show up randomly on some page and are missing on others.

Secondly I installed Kunena and moset tree and the same problem on those pages. they take up the entire width of the template and nothing can be published on the sides. with appreciate your help.

Hi Rashid Siddiqui,

Please check the Module Assigment in module settings again.

Maybe you do not assign those modules to specific menu items.

Thanks

Hi!

1. Checked everything again and the assignments are all correct also cleared the cache several times but no help the module just refuse to show up on any page assigned. The other thing is about the the module positions. There are numerous module position that have no mention in the documentation and then there are module positions in the documentation which are no where to be found such as position user five it no where in the list if you wanted to publish any thing there.

2. Most of the controls for template width and layout control don't work. For example if you cahnge the over all width of the template to 1080px the header DOES NOT RESIZE only the bottom part resizes that too towards the right side and it is not centered.

3. During the installation the installer automatically choose database type MySQLi instead of MySQL which is normal don't know if that has anything to do with this?

Hope you have a solution to this it seem to be a nice template if you can get it to work.
