It is effected by your template css.

Please go to "your_site/modules/mod_sj_content_categories_ii/assets/css/theme3.css", finding:

.theme3_li_lev2 {
    background: url("../images/theme3_li_lev2.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 transparent;
    display: block;
    height: 26px;
    padding: 0;
}


change to

.theme3_li_lev2 {
    background: url("../images/theme3_li_lev2.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 transparent;
    display: block;
    height: 26px;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
}
