TOPIC: Writing Articles

Writing Articles 11 years, 5 months ago #5466

Hi Experts,

Here I got an idea and doesn't know how to do.

In my website I am not allowing a login option for users, but I want to have separate page like /administrator where only authors can login and submit articles. Later an admin can go and publish them.

I tried searching I didn't find an answer, request you people to provide steps how to achieve this.

Thanks,
Sreeni.

Dear Sreenivasulu Nallani,

I think that you can hide the login option for users on your site.

Thanks

Hi SA Supporter,

I want to give a person access to only write articles and the other person only to publish them.

How can I achieve this and where should they login - ONE to write articles and OTHER to publish them .

Thanks,
Sreeni.

Dear Sreenivasulu Nallani,

I think that you can configure the Permission Settings in the Global Configuration (see the attached image).

When registered users submit an article, the administrator can see it in Article manager with the unpublished status.

Thanks

Dear Sreenivasulu Nallani,

You can create a menu item assigned to the login form in the main menu or other menu.

Thanks
