Yt Mega Menu does not support exactly your idea. But it can show a module content or a position content. You can create a module with Module Manager, eg: mod_newsflash, mod_latestnews... in Joomla 1.5; mod_articles_news, mod_articles_latest... in Joomla 1.7, and select article you want to display. Then select Mega Content Type = modules for your menu item. Btw, you can contact another service of us. Hope help you have best website.
