SJ SobiPro Slideshow II Userguide

This guide is intended for SobiPro Slideshow II module

When you buy the module the first time, you will have the latest version. After the first release, we will update this module regularly, then please check newer versions when informed

REQUIREMENTS

1. Joomla! v1.7.x or Joomla! 2.5.x, latest stable version is recommended.
2. Specific component; SobiPro component reflects the name of module.

INSTALLATION

1. Prepare your module package (zip file; please UNZIP first if it is indicated in the file name)
2. All steps are in administrator backend of Joomla!:

In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click Choose File, select module package.
Then click Upload & Install
Please wait for module being installed, usually within several seconds
Now go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click Select Type box and choose the module you have installed
Then click the module listed below to configure it as SETTINGS part hereafter

SETTINGS

1. This module with sample layout is below:

Main Image: Get large image to show with module, configured under Image Options
Title and Price: Configured under Field and Entry Options
Control icons: Configured under Advanced Options, each theme has its own controls

2. The parameters are divided up into the following areas:

Basic Options

BASIC OPTIONS

Module Class Suffix - Allow you to choose another CSS class that suits your template
Theme - Allow you to choose one of themes available
Link Target - Set target for links clicked:
- New window
- Same window
- Popup

SOURCE OPTIONS

Select Section - Choose the source of content that is used with this module
Section ID - ID of the SobiPro section chosen above
Category Filter - Allow to show entries that meet some factors:
- None: Show all entries of section chosen above
- Include: Only those that are from categories below
- Exclude: Only those that are NOT from categories below
Select Category - Choose the category of section that is used with option above
Order Entries By - Allow to choose the criterion for order
- Popularity ascending
- Popularity descending
- Creation date ascending
- Creation date descending
- Last update date ascending
- Last update date descending
- Expiration date ascending
- Expiration date descending
- Random
Entries Limit- Allow to set total of entries to be used by module

FIELD OPTIONS

Description Field- Alias of a SobiPro field that you want it to be entries' description (fields of SobiPro section that you chose above)
Price Field- Alias of a SobiPro field that you want it to be entries' price
Image Field- Alias of a SobiPro field that you want it to be entries' main image

Syntax for image field above: field_alias/@attribute_name

field_alias: Alias of a SobiPro field that you want to set
attribute_name: One of 4 values: original, icon, thumnail, image
Ex: Default value of Image field is field_image_0/@original

ENTRY OPTIONS

Display title - Show the title of entries OR not
Title Maxlength - Allow to set the length of entries title, set 0 for unlimited
Display Description - Show entries description OR not
Description Maxlength - Allow to set the length of entries' description, set 0 for unlimited
Price Display - Show the price field OR not
Show Read More - Show the Readmore link OR not
Read More text- Set text for Readmore link

NAVIGATION OPTIONS

Buttons Display - Show the navigation buttons Next/Previous OR not

For theme 1, 2, 3 or 4

Max items visible - Allow to set number of entries shown for navigation, 3 for minimum
Navigation Width (px) - Allow you to set width of the navigation part
Title Display - Show the title of entries OR not
Title Maxlength - Allow to set the length of entries' title, set 0 for unlimited
Price Display - Show the price field OR not
Display Description - Show entries description OR not
Description Maxlength - Allow to set the length of entries description, set 0 for unlimited
Image Display - Show the small image in navigation OR not

IMAGE OPTIONS

From Image Field- Allow you to get images from image field configured above OR not
From External - Allow you to get images from external source OR not
External Path (or Url) - Set path to external image folder used by option above
Order to Get - Set order: field_image,external OR external,field_image
Placeholder - Allow you to use a placeholder image when entries' image is empty
Placeholder Path or Url - Allow to set path to placeholder image

Big Image Options

Resize Mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing
- None
- Center
- Fill
- Fit
- Strech
Output Format - Allow to set format for all output file:
- Default - if you want to keep original format
- GIF
- JPEG
- PNG
Keep Transparency - Allow to keep images transparent, for PNG and GIF format
Image Width - Allow you to set the width of the big image
Image Height - Allow you to set the height of the big image
Background - Allow to set the color of image background

Small Image Options (image of navigation)

Resize Mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing
- None
- Center
- Fill
- Fit
- Strech
Output Format - Allow to set format for all output file:
- Default - if you want to keep original format
- GIF
- JPEG
- PNG
Keep Transparency - Allow to keep images transparent, for PNG and GIF format
Image Width - Allow you to set the width of the small image
Image Height - Allow you to set the height of the small image
Background - Allow to set the color of image background

EFFECT OPTIONS

Entry Start - Allow you to set numbers of entries to be shown for the first time
Auto Play - Allow you to set autoplay for slideshow
Stop when Hover- Allow you to stop slide when being hovered
Slideshow Speed - Allow you to set how fast slideshow to slide, larger is slower!
Interval - Allow you to set time to stop between sliding, larger is slower!
Slideshow Effect - Allow you to set one from 30 effects for slideshow

ADVANCED OPTIONS

Alternative Layout - Allow you to choose custom alternative layout
Include jQuery - Allow to include jQuery lib OR not
Pre Text - The content to show at the top of module
Post Text - The content to show at the end of module
Caching
- Use Global: Turn on caching
- No Caching: Turn off caching
Cache Times - The time to cache

1. Download Template and Extensions

1.1 Used for members of JTC - Joomla Template Club

STEP 1: Login at SmartAddons.com

STEP 2: Go to Download -> Joomla Templates Club (JTC)

STEP 3: Under Premium Joomla Templates, click SJ Lotte to download

STEP 4: Under SJ Lotte -> Download packages as you want

2. SJ Lotte -Installation and Configuration

2.1 Installation

Log in Administrator of Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
On this page, click Choose File button, select our template file you have downloaded then click Upload & Install

The parameters of SJ Lotte Template are divided into the following groups:

GLOBAL SETTINGS

Generator tag - Generate tag for your template
Hide Main Content Block - Allow to hide Content Component on Homepage
Direction - Choose direction of language: RTL/LTR
Logo Type - Choose your logo type: image OR text
Override Logo Image - Choose logo image file to use
Logo Text - Set text for Text type of logo
Slogan - Set your Website slogan here

SITE STYLES

Default Style - Allow to choose a style from preset ones
Body background color - Set color for background of body
Class body background image - Set CSS class using for image background of body
Link color - Set color for links
Text color - Set color for text
Spotlight background color - Set color for background of spotlight effect
Class spotlight background image - Set CSS class using for image background of spotlight effect
Spotlight3 background color - Set color for background of spotlight3 effect
Footer background color - Set color for background of footer
Class footer background image - Set CSS class using for image background of footer

TYPOGRAPHY

Default Font Size - Allow to choose default font size
Default Font-Family - Allow to choose a font-family from 13 available ones. The default one is Arial
Google Font-Family - Allow to choose a google font-family used for html tags which are in Affected Selectors parameter below
Affected Selectors - Tag names will be applied with google font, comma seperated

LAYOUT SETTINGS

Select Layout - Allow to choose default layout xml file
Overwrite Layouts Windows - Used with window mode, when you want to use another layout for a menu. Syntax:
- Itemid1:Layout_Name1 | Itemid2:Layout_Name2 | ...
With:
- Itemid1, Itemid2...: Id of Menus. You can see these in Menu Item Manager
- Layout_Name1, Layout_Name2...: The name of layout. You can see these in templates/{this_template_name}/layouts folder. NOTE: remove .xml extension

TOP MENU SETTINGS

Default Type Menu - Allow to choose default menu type shown with template, this list is gotten from Menu Manager
Default Menu Style - We support several styles for Menus
- CSS, Moo and Dropline Menu: simple menu
- Mega Menu: multimedia menu
Javascript Effect - Allow to select which JS Effect used with Moo Menu and Mega Menu
Duration Effect - Set time before showing any submenus
Start Level - Set level of menu to start rendering the menu
End Level - Set level of menu to stop rendering the menu

CONTENT COMPONENT

Apply for Blog View - Allow to show the Content block at blog pages OR not
Apply for Frontpage view - Allow to show at Frontpage view OR not
Leading Images Width - Set width of images of Leading Articles
Leading Images Height - Set height of images of Leading Articles
Intro Images Width - Set width of images of Intro Articles
Intro Images Height - Set height of images of Intro Articles
Thumbnail Background Color - Set color background for thumbnail images
Thumbnail Mode - Set thumbnail mode:
- Fill
- Fit
- Stretch
- Center

OPTIMIZE CSS, JS

Optimize Merge File - Choose Yes to optimize all CSS and JS Files which are used in your website
Optimize CSS - Choose Yes to optimize only CSS files
Optimize CSS Exclude - CSS files which are not optimized, comma separated
Optimize JS - Choose Yes to optimize only JS files
Optimize JS Exclude - JS files which are not optimized, comma separated
Optimize Folder - A specific folder with Css/Js files need to be optimized

ADVANCED OPTIONS

Show Back to Top - Allow you to show Back to Top button OR not
Show Cpanel - Allow you to show YT Framwork Control panel OR not
Include LazyLoad plugin - Enable/disable LazyLoad
Enable jQuery - Enable/disable jQuery lib
Enable Google Analytics - Enable/disable Google Analytics
Enter your Google Analytics tracking ID - Copy and paste your Google Analytics tracking ID here

3. Imperative Plugins-Installation and Configuration

You need to install: Yt Plugin.
- Yt Plugin supports Yt Framework for adding extra parameters used with Mega Menu and to compress CSS/JS/HTML when optimizing code.

3.1 Installation

Now you install this plugin

STEP 1: In Administrator on Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
On this page, click Choose File button, choose plugin file (extracted from extensions zip file) from then click Upload & Install

STEP 2:Now, go to Enable Yt Plugin (for Yt Framework) in Extension/Plug-in Manager

3.2 Configuration of YT Plugin (for Yt Framework)

Yt Plugin supports Optimizing CSS/ JS/ HTML and support showing Mega Menus nicely. You can see how to optimize CSS/JS/HTML in Configuration part above and how to use YT Menu Params for styling any Menu Items by remarking an example:

4. Other Extensions - Installation and Configuration
After creating articles and data..., you have to install and configure extensions to have a Website with functions and modules as our pre-made demo.

4.1 Install

4.1.1 List of extensions used in SJ Lotte demo
You can find a list of modules/plugins/components which are used in SJ Lotte by clicking menu Features -> Extensions of demo Website

4.1.2 Installation

In Administrator on Joomla!, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
On this page, click Choose File button, choose an extension file then click Upload & Install

Install the rest of extensions as step above

4.2 Configuration

After installing extensions which are included in the SJ Lotte template, navigate into Extensions -> Module (or Plug-in) Manager then choose the module or plug-in you want to configure. The following example is choosing a module from Module Manager:
