Sometimes when I log on to my page that has the module K2 Categories II, I get a deprecation message.

This is it:

Deprecated: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in /home/content/90/2678190/html/modules/mod_sj_k2_categories_ii/lib/sjk2categoriesiij17newsreader.php on line 57

Do you know why this happens? It does not happen all the time, but sometimes. About 1 out of every 6-10 times.

Please note that I have updated my Joomla to 2.5.8. It appears that Categories II is most effective for Joomla 1.7. This deprecation code appears, I would imagine, because some features in the Joomla 2.5.8 are not compatible.

Do you have plans to update the version of Categories II or have plans to come out with Categories III?

Thank you. I think this module is excellent and would like an upgrade to it.
