i've just checked my version and i'm using use the latest, sj_restaurant_quickstart_j25_v1.1
Every time i try to save a slideshow article, the error appears:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JAdministrator::getParams() in /www/htdocs/dev/plugins/content/plg_relatednews/plg_relatednews.php on line 118

Joomla 2.5.4, php 5.3.10

Just checked it with a local installation (using xampp) and the error is the same

I originally got the error when installing the "complete" quick installer containing all your files. Does it mean that the package contains wrong elements and that I have to download JUST the template again?

We have checked and updated it.

You can download and re-install it again.
