The latest Joomla 3.8 has been released that features over 300 improvements and security fixes. Especially, Joomla 3.8 comes with awesome developer features: New routing system and the beginning of a forward compatibility layer with Joomla! 4.0.

To provide quality assurance for the forthcoming Joomla 3.8 release, Joomla team has released the Beta versions for testing that community members can join in testing process.

To make Joomla be the most powerful open-source content management system, Joomla team hardly work on new Joomla versions. At this time, the team has shared the plan for the Joomla 3.8 release. You are encouraged to join into the release of Joomla 3.8.

Joomla! 3.8 will have two primary major features: the new routing system and the beginning of Joomla! 4.0 Compatibility Layer.

As planned, on 25th April, 2017, Joomla! 3.7 stable has been released. This release carries out over 700 improvements including many features which make administration of Joomla! Web sites easier and more feature-rich, as well as several security updates.

Continuing with Joomla 3.x series, Joomla 3.6 has been carried out with over 400 improvements including many features which help you to easily administrate your Joomla websites. Besides, Joomla 3.6 provides more feature-rich and many UX improvements

Note: Going from 3.5 to 3.6 is a one-click update and is not a migration.

Continuing with Joomla 3.4 release series, Joomla 3.4.7 is now available. This Joomla version addresses a critical security vulnerability and one low level security vulnerabilities. You're highly recommended to update your site with Joomla 3.4.7.
Note: This release only contains the security fixes; no other changes have been made compared to the Joomla 3.4.6 release.

As announced before, Joomla 3.5 is on the way of being carried out. The timeline for this Joomla release also was made in order to help all Joomla users to easy to follow. This timeline may be subject to change depending on availability of volunteers.
