SJ Slideshow Pro Userguide

First of all, make sure you always download the newest version. When you buy the module, you already have the last version.
The following documentation applies to the module version 2.5 and later.

REQUIREMENTS

- Joomla! v1.7.x and Joomla! 2.5.x latest stable version are highly recommended.

(VM Slideshow Pro: Compatible with VM v2.0.2, v2.0.6, v2.0.8)

INSTALLATION

1. Please refer to installation in administrator of module on Joomla! v1.7.x as following:

In your Administrator page, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
In this page, click on Choose File button, choose our module (zip file; unzip first if it is indicated in the filename) then click Upload & Install

Go to Extensions -> Module Manager, click on Select Type box and choose SJ Content Slideshow Pro (this is for Content Component, the same for other components)
And you can change params for your idea hereafter.

2. And now, please preview module with layout of SJ Content Slideshow Pro for example:

Navigation Panel: The first image of articles to preview, click to choose a article.
Information Panel: Show title, description, thumbnails and Show Detail link of article chosen
Main Image: Main image for the article chosen from the thumbnails in the right information panel.

BASIC OPTIONS

Module Class Suffix - Please refer here
Module Width - Allow you to change width for the module
Module Background - Allow you to change color of module's background
Module Border - Allow you to set if module has border line OR not
Open link - Set target for links clicked:
- Sample window
- New window
- Popup
Data Source - Choose the category of content that be used in this module to show
Include Subcategories - Allow you to choose if sub-categories (of data source - parent categoty above) shown OR not
Sort Order By - Allow to sort the order of articles by:
- Recently Added
- Most Viewed
- Recently Modified
- Ordering
- Title
- Random
Source Filter - Allow to show only articles that meet some factors:
- All Articles: Show all featured AND not featured articles
- None Frontpage: Only Articles that are not featured
- Only Frontpage: Only Articles that are featured
Number of Items - You can set the number of articles to be shown

MAIN IMAGE OPTIONS

Image Width - Allow you to set the width of the main image
Image Height - Allow you to set the height of the main image
Show Link on Image - Allow you to set if image could link to article OR not

NAVIGATION OPTIONS

Show Next Previous - Allow to show OR hide the next AND previous
Show Navigation - Allow to show OR hide the navigation panel
Style Navigation - Allow to choose style of navigation panel:
- Images: Use a thumbnail images as navigator
- Numbers: Use ordinal number as navigator
- Bullets: Use two bullets as navigators
Image Width - Allow to set the width of the thumbnail image in navigation panel
Image Height - Allow to set the height of the thumbnail image in navigation panel
Image Background - Allow to set the color background of image
Image Mode - Allow you to choose the mode of image resizing (illustrations by hovering over the Image Mode text):
- None
- Center
- Fill
- Fit
- Strech

INFORMATION OPTIONS

Position of Information - You can set the position of information panel in the left or right of the main image
Panel Width - Set the width of this information
Show Thumb Images - Allow to show thumbnails OR not
Max Sub Thumbnail - Allow to set the numbers of thumbnails in information panel
Width Sub Images - Allow to set the width of each thumbnail
Height Sub Images - Allow to set the height of each thumbnail
Show title - Show the title of over thumbs OR not
Max Length of Title - Allow to set the length of article title
Color Title - Allow you to set the color of the article title
Show Link Title - Allow you to set title links to article OR not
Show Description - Allow you to show article description OR not
Keep HTML - Strip HTML tags in description or keep them
Max Length of Description - Allow to set the length of article description

Custom URL - This param allows you to customize the link of each article. If you do not want to go to the detail page of article, you can change the link to another. In the textarea of Custom HTML, please use the following syntax::
- ArticleID_1:New_URL_1
- ArticleID_2:New_URL_2
- ...
- ArticleID_1, ArticleID_2,... are ids of Articles. You can see the Id column in Article Manager page in VirtueMart Component.
- New_URL_1, New_URL_2, New_URL_3 are links which you want to replace the orginal links. Format: http://www.newlink.com
Pre Text - The content to show at the top of module
Post Text - The content to show at the end of module
Caching
- Use Global: Turn on caching
- No Caching: Turn off caching
Cache Times - The time to cache

2.1 INSTALLATION

In Administrator page on Joomla! v1.7.x, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
On this page, click on Choose File button, choose our template and then click Upload & Install
Set SJ Model Template as default template

GENERAL SETTINGS

Generator tag - Generate tag for your template
Template Width Type - Choose width type of your template
Template Width - Change width of template here
Hide Main content block - Allow to hide content component for home page
Direction - Choose RTL/LTR Language
Logo Type - Choose your logo types: image or text type
Logo Text - For Text Type
Slogan - Change your slogan here

MAINBODY COLUMNS SETTINGS

Main body width type - Choose width type: pixel/percentage
Main width - Change width of main body
Left/Right Width - Change width of Left/Right column

LAYOUT SETTINGS

Default Mode View - We support Mobile View and Window View for your site.
Window layout - When a guest views your website on computer, this layout is used. You can choose the following options for your window layout
- Full
- Main - left - right
- Left - Right - Main
- Main - Left - Right
- Main - right
- Left - main
Mobile Layout - When a guest uses a mobile to view, this layout is used as default
Iphone layout - When a guest views the site on Iphone, this layout is used
Android layout - When a guest views the site on Android System, this layout is used
Handheld layout - When a guest views the site on a Handheld, this layout is used
Overwrite Layouts Windows - This parameter will be used for window mode. When you want to use another layout for a menu, you can use this one. Syntax:
- Id1:Layout_Name1 | Id1:Layout_Name2 | ...
With:
- Id1, Id2...: Id of Menu. You can see the Id column in Menu Item Manager page
- Layout_Name1, Layout_Name2...: The name of layout in templates/sj_model/layouts folder without tail .xml

STYLE SETTINGS

Default Style - Choose a suitable style for your site. There're 6 different site styles
Default Font Size - Set default size for your template here.
Default Font-Family - Use this parameter to choose font-family for your site. The default font of this template is Arial.
Google Font-Family - This parameter allows you to use a google font for some html tags which are in Affected Selectors
Affected Selectors - Tags will be applied with google font.

Thumbnail Background Color - Set color background for thumbnail image

Show Cpanel - Allow you to show/ not to show Cpanel
Override logo image - Change logo image of Cpanel by inserting path of image in code folder or live link of image here
Enable jquery - Enable/disable jquery
Enable Google Analytics - Enable/disable Google Analytics
Enter your Google Analytics tracking ID - Copy and paste your Google Analytics tracking ID here
Optimize CSS/Merge File - Allow to optimize all the CSS/Merge Files which are used in your website
Optimize CSS Exclude - Please insert name of CSS File which you don't want to optimize
Optimize JS - Allow to optimize all the JS Files which are used in your website
Optimize JS Exclude - Please insert name of JS File which you don't want to optimize
Optimize Folder - This is the folder where optimized css/js files are stored
Optimize HTML - Allow to optimize all the HTML Files which are used in your webite

3. Yt Plugin(for Yt Framework) -Installation and Configuration

3.1 INSTALLATION

In Administrator page on Joomla! v1.7.x, go to Extensions -> Extension Manager
On this page, click on Choose File button, choose the plugin and then click Upload & Install

3.2 CONFIGURATION

After installing Yt Plugin, please to go Extension/Plug-in Manager and then go to config Yt Plugin as below:

GO TO CONFIG PLUGIN

In configuration of Yt Plugin, we support for showing SJ Help with Report Bugs, Template Tutorials, Framework Tutorials

SHOWING SJ HELP

Yt Plugin supports for Optimizing CSS/ JS/ HTML and Mega Menu. You can see part of optimizing CSS/JS/HTML in configuration of SJ Model and supporting for Mega Menu in any Menu Items. Please see the following example:

Install all of the rest extensions as above
