I did not notice this error before so I do not know if perhaps the recent Joomla 3.3.3 upgrade caused this but:

look at the loin module in the footer position. The value for mod_login_register2 is not being found then "click" on this link.

that fixed the problem with the crashed screen but the "register" button is not picking up the label to place in that link. In other words, the registration link is showing the variable name not the value.

MOD_REGISTER_LOGIN2

So, I went to the language file for this template and added it.

That problem fixed now as well.
